J Mac & Flynt Hef grew up in Mobile AL. They met in elementary school and have been friends ever Since.  J Mac started playing guitar at the age of ten and was heavily influenced by 60’s & 70’s bands like Jimmy Hendrix and Led Zepplin.  Flynt Hef took a different path musically. He started rapping at the age of thirteen and was influenced by such artists as To Short and The Ghetto Boys.  At the age of twenty five Flynt Hef had a few songs on local radio stations.  J Mac & Flynt Hef teamed up to infuse an early rock sound with a modern day hip hop vibe.
